Alessia Cara: Growing Pains – bravúros videoklip a kanadai énekesnő második albuma elé
A minőségi mainstream pop csajmezőnyben Dua Lipa mellett Alessia Cara az elmúlt három év másik nagy sikersztorija: az 1996-os születésű torontói dalszerző-gitáros-énekesnő 2015-ben futott be a Portishead- és Tricky-számokból ismerős Isaac Hayes-hangmintára épített Here című dalával és milliós fogyású Know-It-All albumával, majd a következő évek slágerkollaborációi (az orosz-német EDM-producer Zedd-del közös Stay meg a Khalid és Logic társaságában jegyzett 1-800-273-8255) után idén a legjobb új előadó Grammy-díját nyerte. Második nagylemezét most egy briliáns klippel vezeti fel.
A 21 éves kanadai művésznő a szeptember tájára ígért – elmondása szerint immár teljesen egyedül írt – új The Pains Of Growing albumról elsőként a Growing Pains kislemezdalt mutatta be, melyet a debütáló anyagán is besegítő amerikai Pop & Oak fekete R&B-pop producerpárossal rögzített. A felnövés kínjaira utaló címekhez illik a dalpremier után egy héttel érkezett bravúros koreográfiájú pszeudo-egysinttes videoklip is, melyben Alan Masferrer barceloniai rendező kamerája előtt az énekesnőt álarcos alakok terelik a felnőtt viselkedés és viselet felé.
