Beck: Colors – Edgar Wright videoklipje Alison Brie szereplésével
Beck több év csúszás után tavaly ősszel kiadott poplemezéről, a sztárproducer Greg Kurstinnel készült Colors albumról a 2015-ös Dreams slágerdalhoz furamód nem járt vizuális kíséret, a 2016-os Wow és a 2017-es Up All Night után pedig a 2018 januárjában bemutatott Fix Me videó már nagy csalódás volt, de a címadó szám legalább egy méltó klipet kapott – amit a Baby Driver (Nyomd, bébi, nyomd) rendezője, Edgar Wright forgatott! Az AppleMusic oldalán március végén debütált Colors videót fél év után immár végre a YouTube-on is láthatjuk!
A Haláli hullák hajnala és Vaskabátok című vígjátékaival elhíresült 1974-es születésű Wright – aki legközelebb a veterán Sparks együttesről forgat dokumentumfilmet – nem sok zenei videót rendezett (a legutóbbit tavaly a Baby Driver egyik betétdalához, a filmben szereplő Sky Ferreira által énekelt Easy című Commodores-feldolgozáshoz vágta össze), de idén egy briliáns klippel hálálta meg, hogy 2010-ben a Scott Pilgrim a világ ellen című filmjéhez egy rakás Sex Bob-Omb-számot kapott Becktől. A Colors album roppant slágeres címadó dalának már egy éve volt az énekes hivatalos YouTube-csatornáján egy Slime Visualizer alcímű alibiklipje, de most került mellé egy rendes official music video is, melynek Ryan Heffington által koreografált színes-táncos kavalkádjában Beck partnere egy hollywoodi színésznő: a többek közt a Mad Men és GLOW sorozatokból, illetve A (sz)ex az oka mindennek és Hogyan legyünk szinglik? című filmekből ismerős Alison Brie.
