Belle And Sebastian: I’ll Be Your Pilot +FRISSÍTÉS: újabb videoklip a háromrészes EP-sorozat elé
A bő két évtizedes múltra visszatekintő skót Belle And Sebastian indie pop zenekar a 2015-ös Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance album után a How To Solve Our Human Problems címre keresztelt következő dalcsokrát nem hagyományos nagylemezként jelenteti meg, hanem három különálló ötszámos EP-n, a tél folyamán egy-egy hónap különbséggel: az első rész december 8-án, a második 2018. január 19-én, a harmadik pedig február 16-án érkezik (ez utóbbi időpontban a 15 felvétel egy gyűjteményes kiadvánnyá egyesítve is elérhető lesz, vinyl box set és szimpla CD formátumban is). Az első részt beharangozó slágeres We Were Beautiful klipdal után most jött a második EP-ről is egy szám.
Az új lemezborítókhoz a zenekar felhívására jelentkező rajongók közül kiválogatott mintegy félszáz modellt személyesen lefotózó Stuart Murdoch frontember nemcsak a megjelenési forma, de a belső tartalom terén is valami mást szeretett volna, mint legutóbb: míg az előző albumon dühös politikus dalok is szerepeltek, addig az új anyag a világban uralkodó negativitást gyengéd pozitív hozzáállással kívánja ellenpontozni – és erre jó példa a lemezbejelentéshez közzétett I’ll Be Your Pilot című finom kis dal, mely még oboa is díszít.
