Björk feat. Sindri Eldon: Ancestress – klip az énekesnő fiával közös dalhoz
Björk a képzőművész Matthew Barney-val való szakítására reflektáló 2015-ös Vulnicura és a szerelem újrafelfedezését ünneplő 2017-es Utopia után idén egy táncos és boldog lemezzel folytatja, de a szeptember 30-án megjelenő Fossora című gombainspirált „biológiai techno” albumról sem hiányzik a magánéleti/családi dimenzió: a hetente érkező beharangozó klipdalok sorában az Atopos és az Ovule után ma harmadikként közzétett Ancestressben a címbeli női ős az izlandi énekesnő 2018-ban elhunyt édesanyja, Hildur Rúna Hauksdóttir, míg háttérvokalistaként a fiát, a szintén zenésszé lett Sindri Eldont hallhatjuk.
A Fossora albumon a nemzetközi vendégek (a norvég énekesnő Emilie Nicolas, az amerikai experimentalista Serpentwithfeet, a spanyol producer El Guincho és a Gabber Modus Operandi indonéz dance duóból DJ Kasimyn) mellett Björk mindkét gyermeke közreműködik: a 19 éves Ísadóra Bjarkardóttir Barney a Her Mother’s House című záródalban ad elő egy saját maga által írt szöveget, míg a 36 éves Sindri – aki az énekesnő Sugarcubes nevű hajdani zenekarának gitárosától, Þór Eldontól született – az Ancestressben szerepel a női ősök előtt tisztelegve. A hétperces szám videóját egy régi kollaborátor, a kínai-amerikai képzőművész-filmrendező Andrew Thomas Huang jegyzi.
