Boy Pablo – dalok az első album és a budapesti koncert elé

Az 1999-ben Norvégia legizgalmasabb zenei színtérrel rendelkező városában, Bergenben született kis Pablo 2016-ban tűnt fel lo-fi/psych pop beütésű első kislemezdalaival, és szervezte meg maga köré együttesét, majd két EP, az Everything slágerdalt fiadzó 2017-es Roy Pablo és a 2018-as Soy Pablo (illetve azok 2019-es egyesített kiadása) után 2020 közepén kezdte felvezetni első albumát: az október 23-ra bejelentett Wachito Rico konceptlemez az azonos nevű főhős-alterego első szerelmének történetét meséli el.

A lila kismotoros imidzs Pablo vicces utalása egy másik kis termetű popsztárnak, a néhai Prince-nek az 1984-es Purple Rain sikeralbumára és filmjére, míg a beharangozó kislemezekhez az elmúlt két hónapban bemutatott Hey Girl és Honey klipeket a Wes Anderson-mozik stílusában forgatták Eivind Landsvik rendezővel (a narrátor szerepét a Tiger King című Netflix-sikerdoku egyik figurája, a JoeExoticTV-producer Rick Kirkham vállalta el).
