Bright Eyes: Mariana Trench – videoklip a kilenc év után érkező új album bejelentéséhez

A fenti friss zenekarképen a gitáros-programozó-producer Mike Mogis és a billentyűs-trombitás-hangszerelő Nate Walcott között látható Oberst (aki tavaly Phoebe Bridgers gitáros-énekesnővel is kiadott Better Oblivion Community Center név alatt egy folk-pop albumot) az új Bright  Eyes-lemezt augusztus 21-én jelenteti meg Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was címmel.

A húzódalnak választott Mariana Trench című dalban a New York-i dalszerző-énekes Miwi La Lupa és Jesca Hoop énekesnő is vokálozik, a változást és megújulást ünneplő kézi festésű animációs klipen pedig a brooklyni Art Camp stúdió 18 stábtagja dolgozott a karantén alatt külön-külön (tavaly ők készítették Mitskinek az A Pearl és a Radiohead-vezér Thom Yorke-nak a Last I Heard …He Was Circling The Drain videóját is).

az új dalt Conor Obersték ma éjszaka Stephen Colbert tévéműsorában élőben is előadják – a fellépés a holnapi naptól itt lesz látható:
FRISSÍTÉS: a Bright Eyes nyolc és fél év utáni első fellépésén a QOTSA-dobos Jon Theodore mellett még a Lucius-lányok is közreműködtek!
