Dalok az Unknown Mortal Orchestra harmadik albumáról
Az ausztrál Tame Impala mellett a déli féltekéről a legjobb pszichedelikus pop-rockot az új-zélandi Ruban Nielson dalszerző-gitáros-énekes szállítja, akit legutóbb az új Toro y Moi-lemez vendégeként hallhattunk, de most saját zenekara, az amerikai ritmusszekcióval és portlandi székhellyel működő Unknown Mortal Orchestra élén is visszatér. A 2011-es címnélküli debütálás és a II sorszámú/című második album után 2013-ban az A38-ra is eljutó trió 2015-ös lemezéről már több dalt is hallhatunk.
A szőke basszista, a tavaly Budapestre szintén eljutó portlandi Wampire együttes producereként is dicséretes munkát végző Jake Portrait és a szakállas dobos Riley Geare társaságában dolgozó Nielsonra – a Tame Impala-vezér Kevin Parkerhez hasonlóan – a funk is nagy hatást tett az utóbbi időben, és ez már a május 26-án megjelenő Multi-Love című új albumról eddig hivatalosan közzétett számokból is hallatszik, főleg a Can’t Keep Checking My Phone-ból, melynek premierjét múlt éjszaka tartották.
