Djo: Roddy +FRISSÍTÉS: Chateau (Feel Alright) – újabb dal a Stranger Things-színész Joe Keery szólóprojektjétől
A Stranger Things sikersorozat ifjú színészei közül nemcsak a Calpurnia együttest vezető Finn Wolfhard zenél, de például a ragyogó hajú Steve Harrington figuráját játszó Joe Keery is, aki az idei évadban Ethan Hawke és Uma Thurman lányával, Maya Hawke-kal alakított vagány fagyipárost. Az elmúlt öt évben a Post Animal nevű chicagói pszichedelikus rockzenekar egyik gitáros-énekeseként két albumot is készítő Joe most Djo művésznevén kezdett szólókarriert, és már remek debütáló kislemezdalát is közzétette.
Az 1992-es massachusettsi születésű Joe Kewry a színészként való 2016-os berobbanása után már nem tudott rendesen részt venni a Post Animal turnéiban, noha a tavalyi When I Think Of You In A Castle albumon még teljes jogú tagként szerepelt a stúdióban (a gitározás mellett két kislemez- és klipdalban még énekesként is).
Joe-nak már a zenekar előtt is volt egy garázsrockos szólóprojektje Cool Cool Cool név alatt (a Bandcamp-oldalán 2013-ban debütáló I’m Not Smart című számát teljesen egyedül írta és rögzítette), és most ismét szólóban jelentkezik, de ezúttal már Djo művésznéven és jóval szofisztikáltabb zenével: a néhány bajszos, retrofrizurás (vélhetően parókás) fotó kíséretében közzétett Roddy című első kislemezdala egy roppant fülbemászó klasszikus psych-pop szám, mely az augusztusra várható Twenty Twenty albumának előfutára.
