Eddie Vedder: Long Way – kislemezdal a Pearl Jam-énekes Earthling című szólóalbuma elé
A Pearl Jam tavalyi Gigaton albuma és Get It Back című jótékonysági dala óta a frontember Eddie Vedder külön is előállt egy sor kiadvánnyal: a decemberi négyszámos Matter Of Time EP-je után idén a Rage Against The Machine-gitáros Tom Morello és Bruce Springsteen társaságában hallhattuk az AC/DC-féle Highway To Hell átiratában, majd az ír folk-rocker Glen Hansarddal jegyezte a Flag Day film betétdalait, Elton John októberre bejelentett The Lockdown Sessions nagylemezén is lesz egy E-Ticket című duettje, ma pedig egy új szólóalbumot is elkezdett felvezetni egy kislemezdallal.
A Tom Petty-hangzású – a Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers-billentyűs Benmont Tench orgonajátékával díszített – Long Way című számot 56 éves Vedder a Red Hot Chili Peppers-körből Chad Smith dobos és Josh Klinghoffer exgitáros, továbbá az idei Grammy-gálaesten az év producerének választott Andrew Watt (Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone stb.) társaságában írta és rögzítette, egy The Haves című másik szólódallal párban fog megjelenni vinyl kislemezen, és Earthling címmel várható új szólóalbumának is része lesz.
