Eurovízió – az izlandi Daði Freyr feldolgozta Will Ferrell fiktív izlandi popduójának slágerét
Az évente májusban zajló Eurovíziós Dalfesztivál idén a koronavírus-járvány áldozata lett, de a puccparádé rajongóit némiképp kárpótolhatta a június végén bemutatott Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga című Netflix-vígjáték, melyben Will Ferrell és Rachel McAdams a címbeli fiktív izlandi együttes tagjait alakítva indulnak a nagy versenyen. A filmhez írt számok egyike, a Volcano Man című heroikus elektropop viccdal instant klasszikus lett – főleg, hogy az idei Eurovízió legnagyobb esélyesei közt jegyzett valóságos izlandi előadó, Daði Freyr is feldolgozta!
Az élet utánozza a művészetet! A 28. születésnapját éppen ma ünneplő 2 méter 8 centi magas multiinstrumentalista-producer-énekes Daði Freyr Pétursson, aki Think About Things című indie pop szerzeményével nevezett be az idei versenyre, a saját otthoni stúdiójában készített egy átiratot a fiktív izlandi indulók Vulkánember dalából, mely valójában a svéd Christian Persson/Gustaf Holter producerpáros munkája – a zenészszerepekben már jártas Will Ferrell mellett fő énekesnőként pedig a több eurovíziós próbakört is futott Molly Sandén (My Marianne) hallható benne Rachel McAdams hangmankójaként.
