Feist – klipdalok a hat év után érkező új Multitudes albumról

Az 1976-os születésű kanadai művésznő a fent említett norvég Kings Of Convenience duó kíséretében már 2018-ban bemutatta egy The Redwing című kiadatlan új szerzeményét, melyek mellé aztán még tizenvalahány újabb dalt is írt, és azok tekintélyes részét 2021-2022 folyamán már közönség előtt is letesztelte egy Multitudes címet kapó intim koncertsorozat keretében. A 2019-ben született (adoptált) gyermekének érkezése és édesapjának halála, no meg a járványidőszak elszigeteltsége és introspekciója által inspirált számokat Feist korábban már bevált stúdiósegédek (a multiinstrumentalista-producer Mocky és a hangmérnökből társproducerré előlépett Robbie Lackritz), továbbá néhány kísérőzenész (köztük a fentebb említett legutóbbi miniturnén is közreműködő Todd Dahlhoff billentyűs és Amir Yaghmai gitáros-hegedűs) társaságában rögzítette.

Az április 14-re ígért 12 számos új Multitudes albumról a lemezbejelentéshez igazítva Feist egyszerre három dalt is közzétett In Lightning, Love Who We Are Meant To és Hiding Out In The Open címmel – ez utóbbi aztán egy napon belül hivatalos klipet is kapott, melynek hátterében a videotrükkmester Colby Richardsont és levélíró szerepben a rendezőhaver Mike Millst láthatjuk (február 21-én az In Lightning című számhoz is bemutatnak egy videoklipet, és az is bekerül majd frissítésként ebbe a cikkbe).
