Florence + The Machine: Delilah +FRISSÍTÉS: egyszerre két dalpremier!
Az idei Sziget Fesztivál egyik legnagyobb fegyverténye, hogy Florence Welch a harmadik Florence + The Machine-album turnéján már végre eljut Magyarországra, és erről a június 1-jére várható How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful albumról a három eddigi beharangozó kislemezdal (What Kind Of Man, St. Jude, Ship To Wreck) után ma este érkezett egy negyedik is: a Delilah nem szerepelt a tavaszi koncerteken játszott új számok közt, így az ősbemutatójára csak most került sor a BBC Radio 1 adón.
A Sámsont romlásba döntő bibliai Delilával példálózó szerzemény azt a napot idézi meg, mikor az épp Jamaikában vakációzó Florence majd’ megőrült már a pasija telefonhívására várva. Ezt a helyzetet illusztrálja az alábbi fotó is, melyen az énekesnő mellett a dalainak mintegy egynegyedében – köztük a Delilah-ban is – társszerzőként besegítő Isabella Summers, a Florence + The Machine billentyűsnője látható (a projektben lényegében ő a Machine, merthogy Florence annak idején az Isabella Machine becenevet ragasztotta elektronikában jártas barátnőjére).
