Florence + The Machine: Queen Of Peace / Long & Lost – dupla videoklip
Az idei Szigeten augusztus 11-én – a lehető legszerencsétlenebb módon épp a Future Islands együttessel egy idősávban – fellépő Florence + The Machine a How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful című harmadik albumát három klipdallal (What Kind Of Man, St. Jude, Ship To Wreck) és a videót sajnos nem kapó Delilah című számmal vezette fel. Most a megjelenés után csaknem két hónappal itt a következő klip, a Queen Of Peace és Long & Lost című dalok dupla A-oldalas kislemezéhez.
A 28 éves angol dalszerző-énekesnő Florence Welch – aki legutóbb a Glastonbury fesztivál headliner posztján játszott Foo Fighters-feldolgozása kapcsán szerepelt itt a rovatban – az általa oly kedvelt középkori ikonográfiába helyezett Queen Of Peace-ben egy csata megnyerését és a közben elszenvedett veszteséget veti össze, miközben a folyamatosan világot járó (és amúgy is elég elszállt) énekesnő küzd férfi párjával, a királlyal, illetve saját énjének nyugalmat és stabilitást áhító részével.
A monumentális-eksztatikus Queen Of Peace-nek az album fő producere, Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Mumford & Sons stb.) volt a szerzőtársa, a Skóciában forgatott videót pedig ismét Vincent Haycock rendezte: az időközben The Odyssey névre keresztelt klipsorozatnak ez a 4. része – a megbánásról és hazatérésről szóló Long & Lost című dalhoz igazított 5. résszel közös tízperces kisfilmbe foglalva.
