Florence + The Machine: Wish That You Were Here – betétdal Tim Burton új filmjéhez
A How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful című legutóbbi Florence + The Machine-album ciklusát lezáró The Odyssey klipfilm óta Florence Welch megjelentett már új felvételeket Rufus Wainwright sztárparádés William Shakespeare-szonettlemezén (When In Disgrace With Fortune And Men’s Eyes) és a Final Fantasy XV videojáték kísérőzenéjeként (Songs From Final Fantasy XV), most pedig bemutat egy betétdalt a Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children (magyarul: Vándorsólyom kisasszony különleges gyermekei) című új Tim Burton-filmhez is, mely szeptember 29-én kerül a mozikba.
Az angol dalszerző-énekesnő amúgy is misztikus világához jól passzol egy olyan időhurkos fantasy, mely egy isten háta mögötti walesi szigeten játszódik, ahol Vándorsólyom kisasszony (Eva Green alakításában) különleges képességű gyermekeket nevel árvaházában, és mindezt a nagy mozivarázsló Tim Burton viszi vászonra az amerikai író Ransom Riggs 2011-es bestsellere nyomán.
A Wish That You Were Here című új Florence + The Machine-felvétel hivatalosan csak holnap jelenik meg, de itt már ma meghallgatható:
