A Foo Fighters negyedszázados jubileumára felvett tizedik album, a 2021. február 5-én megjelenő Medicine At Midnight anyagából Dave Grohl novemberben már bemutatta a Shame Shame klipdalt, majd decemberben karácsony és hanuka alkalmából játszott feldolgozásokat (Beastie Boys, Elastica, Mountain, The Knack, The Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, Drake, Peaches – ez utóbbival duettezett is!) és beugrott Ringo Starr sztárparádés Here’s To The Nights című számába is – de most az új év januárját rögtön egy új Foo Fighters-dallal nyitja.
A zenekar 2017-es Concrete And Gold nagylemezéhez és az azt követő Soldier című számhoz hasonlóan ismét Greg Kurstin producerrel készült a Medicine At Midnight album is, melyről második beharagozóként a Shame Shame-nél jóval dögösebb riffelésű No Son Of Mine-t hallhatjuk. A felvételen ütőhangszeresként közreműködik a doboslegenda Omar Hakim, a női kórusban pedig Inara George mellett a frontember 14 éves lánya, Violet Grohl is.
