Glass Animals: Heat Waves – videoklip +FRISSÍTÉS: londoni utcakoncert
A Glass Animals brit art-pop kvartett a 2014-es Zaba és a 2016-os How To Be A Human Being után – a dobos Joe Seaward 2018-as súlyos közlekedési balesete miatt – csak 2020-ra lett kész harmadik nagylemezével: az eredetileg bejelentett júliusi dátum helyett augusztus 7-re csúsztatott Dreamland albumról a Denzel Curry rapbetétjével spékelt Tokyo Drifting, a Your Love (Déjà Vu) és a címadó nyitódal videója mellé most megkaptuk a negyedik klipdalt is.
A szemüveges dalszerző-producer-gitáros-énekes Dave Bayley a tavaszi járványhelyzetben Nirvana-, Lana Del Rey-, Bill Withers– és Drake-slágerek átirataival szórakoztatta a rajongókat karanténfeldolgozás-sorozatában, és hasonlóképpen a társadalmi távolságtartás tematikájához igazította a Heat Waves című új Glass Animals-szám klipjét is: a környéken lakó ismerősei az ablakukból filmezték őt, ahogy a kihalt utcán koncertfelszerelésével haladt az üres koncertterem felé, ahol zenésztársai csak tévéképernyőkön lehettek mellette a színpadon. A videót rendezőként a Radiohead 2017-es Man Of War klipjével feltűnt Colin Read jegyzi, aki már a legutóbbi Dreamland kislemzdal májusi karanténvideójánál is segédkezett a frontembernek.
