Gorillaz feat. Little Simz: Garage Palace – dal a londoni rapper-énekesnővel
A Gorillaz tavaszi Humanz albuma, az azon felül érkezett júniusi Sleeping Powder meglepetésdal és a legutóbbi sztárparádés Strobelite klip után Damon Albarn még a Gorillaz-remixer Nic Fanciulli brit techno house DJ-vel is kiadott egy közös számot (Saying), de most végre a közzétette a stúdióverziót a koncerteken már június óta játszott Garage Palace című dalból is, melyben a nigériai származású londoni rapper-énekesnő Little Simz a közreműködő vendég – akit Albarnék az őszi turnéjuk előzenekari posztjára is felkértek.
Az 1994-ben Simbiatu Ajikawo néven született MC-lánynak a 2010-2015 közti mixtape-jei és EP-i után megjelent két önálló albuma, a 2015-ös A Curious Tale Of Trials + Persons és a 2016-os Stillness In Wonderland is jó kritikákat kapott, sőt Dizzee Rascal és Kendrick Lamar is az új kedvencei közt említi – és ehhez a dicsérő sorhoz csatlakoztak most Albarnék is a közös turnéval és az alábbi közös Garage Palace dallal, mely a Humanz album november 3-ra csúszott Super Deluxe Vinyl Box Set kiadásának egyik B-oldalas kislemezdalaként jelenik meg, és egy játékautomata-videót is kapott.
