Gwen Stefani: Make Me Like You – Valentin-napi dal + albumbejelentés +FRISSÍTÉS: a dal videoklipje!
A No Doubt-énekesnő Gwen Stefani a szólókarrierjét újraindító, de kevéssé sikeres 2014-es Baby Don’t Lie és Spark The Fire kislemez- és klipdalokat a köréjük tervezett albumprojekttel együtt kukába dobta, és három alkalmi kollaboráció (a Calvin Harrisnek készített Together, a Pharrell-lel közös Shine és az Eminemmel felvett Kings Never Die duett) után a válására reflektáló tavaly őszi Used To Love You-val kezdett új lemezkört. Tíz év után érkező harmadik szólóalbumához a héten tette közzé a lemezcímet, a számlistát és a borítót – sőt Valentin naphoz igazítva egy slágeres új dalt is.
A 46 éves No Doubt-díva a 2016. március 18-án megjelenő This Is What The Truth Feels Like című harmadik szólóalbumáról a fájdalmas őszi ballada után második beharangozó számként egy szerelmes témájú lendületes popdalt mutat be, melyről még akár a Cardigans régi slágerei is eszünkbe juthatnak a Lovefoollal az élen. A skandináv popérzet nem véletlen: az énekesnőnek a Used To Love You-t is társszerzőként jegyző amerikai páros, Julia Michaels és Justin Tranter (a Lady Gaga előzenekaraként 2010-ben Budapesten is járt Semi Precious Weapons rockzenekar frontembere) mellett ezúttal egy svéd producerpáros, Mattman & Robin, azaz Mattias Larsson és Robin Fredriksson is besegített (ők többek közt Carly Rae Jepsen és a svéd énekesnő, Tove Lo lemezein dolgoztak korábban).
A Valentin napra szánt Make Me Like You című új Gwen Stefani-dal – melyhez február 15-én élő tévéközvetítés formájában forgatnak videoklipet Sophie Muller rendezőnővel a Grammy-díjátadó egyik szünetében – itt hallható:
