Iceage: The Day The Music Dies – újabb klip a Bánkitó Fesztiválra bejelentkezett dán zenekartól
A 2011-es New Brigade tinédzserpunk-debütálásával befutott dán Iceage-tagok egyszer már felléptek Budapesten a 2013-as You’re Nothing és 2014-es Plowing Into The Field Of Love albumok között (aztán Elias Bender Rønnenfelt frontember inkább Marching Church-lemezeket csinált), de az idei visszatérő anyagukhoz újabb magyarországi koncertet is adnak a július 11-14. közt zajló Bánkitó Fesztivál nyitónapján. A május 4-re ígért új Beyondless albumukról a Catch It klipdalban egy Twin Peaks-színész szerepelt, a Pain Killer című számban meg Sky Ferreira – a legújabb videójuk híres közreműködő nélkül is üt.
A március végi Take It All című harmadik kislemezdal után most negyedik beharangozóként érkező The Day The Music Dies klipjét a 25-26 éves koppenhágai zenészek egyik nagy amerikai példaképüknek (és korai nagy rajongójuknak), Iggy Popnak a városában, Detroitban forgatták, és a zene halálának napjára való várakozáshoz ünnepélyes templomi környezetet találtak a helyi Masonic Temple-ben, ahol Elias még egy sírhelyet is kipróbált (aztán az utcára is kimentek és egy szaunában is felfrissültek, mert a halál nem jön könnyen). A videót Graeme Flegenheimer mellett társrendezőként jegyző tagok a tüzes dorbézoláshoz a hajdani punkhangzásuk helyett glam-rockos (a végén még szaxofonnal is kibővített) zenei keretet választottak.
