Leon Bridges: Motorbike – klip Anderson .Paak rendezésében az új Gold-Diggers Sound albumhoz
Leon Bridges texasi soul gitáros-énekest a 2015-ös Coming Home és 2018-as Good Thing sikeralbumai óta sok kollaborációban hallhattuk: a detroiti rappercsaj DeJ Loaffal (Liberated), a country hercegnő Kacey Musgravesszel (Present Without A Bow), a Khruangbin trióval (Texas Sun EP), Noah Cyrusszal (July), John Mayerrel (Inside Friend), az Avalanches tánczenei kollektívával (Interstellar Love) és a dzsessz-funk-hiphop multiinstrumentalista-producer Terrace Martinnal (Sweeter). Ez utóbbi protest song átkerül 2021. július 23-án megjelenő Gold-Diggers Sound című nagylemezére is, melyhez a legújabb klipet Anderson .Paak rendezte.
A 2018-es albumhoz hasonlóan ismét a két fehér producerhaverral, Ricky Reeddel és Nate Mercereau-val felvett – vendégei közt a billentyűs Robert Glaspert és az atlantai Vintage Nation együttes gitáros-énekesnőjét, Inket is szerepeltető – új anyag a dalszerző-énekes elmondása szerint az eddigi legérzékibb lemeze, melyről ma a Motorbike című számot mutatta be. „A felvételek előtt a 30. születésnapomat Puerto Ricóban ünnepeltem a legjobb barátaimmal, és annak az utazásnak energiája nagyban inspirálta ezt a dalt. A Motorbike arról szól, milyen a pillanatnak élni és megszökni valakivel” – mondja Leon az afrobeat nyitányú számról, melynek Bonnie & Clyde ihletésű klipjét a hiphop-soul-funk dobos-énekes-rapper-producer Anderson .Paak rendezte.
