A sztárproducer Mark Ronson az elmúlt pár évben is rengeteg énekesnővel dolgozott, legutóbb a Silk City nevű Diplo-kollaborációjának Florence Welch (Florence + The Machine) és Romy Madley Croft (The xx) társszerzői segítségével írt Dua Lipa-slágerét (Electricity), a Csillag születik sikerfilmhez komponált legjobb Lady Gaga-betétdalt (Shallow) és egy kiszivárgott SZA-felvételt (Back Together) hallhattunk a munkái közül. Négy év után jövőre várható új önálló albumán Lykke Li és King Princess is szerepel majd, de az első klipdalt Miley Cyrusszal készítette.
Az 1992-es születésű amerikai énekesnő a művészi nagykorúságát jelző Flaming Lips-kollaborációi (a 2014-es Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds átdolgozás, a 2015-ös Miley Cyrus And Her Dead Petz meglepetésalbum és a 2017-es We A Famly duett) után tavaly szeptemberben a Younger Now című nagylemezével próbált a korábbi mainstream sikerszériájához visszatérni, de az a fordulat nem járt a várt eredménnyel – ez a Mark Ronsonnal készített vonóskíséretű „szomorú bulidal” és hozzá a francia We Are From LA rendezőpáros aktuális amerikai közéleti témákra reflektáló klipje azonban biztos befutónak tűnik.
