Neil Young And Crazy Horse: Song Of The Seasons +FRISSÍTÉS: Heading West – újabb dal a Barn albumról

Young tavaly archívumának újabb kiadványaival, a 45 év után végre kiadott Homegrown nagylemezzel és az annak anyagát is tartalmazó monumentális Archives Vol. II: 1972-1976 díszdobozzal lepte meg rajongóit (továbbá volt egy The Times című lo-fi szóló-EP-je is, melyen négy saját régi dalának és a Bob Dylan-féle The Times They Are A-Changin’-nek az előadása szerepelt), de most friss szerzeményekkel is visszatér.

A Barn albumcím a felvételeknek helyt adó és a borítón is látható pajtaépületre vonatkozik. „Nagyon boldogok vagyunk, hogy visszatérhetünk a Pajtába, amely egy 1850-es évekbeli pajta replikájaként épült pontosan ugyanazon a helyen, ahol az eredeti összeomlott, fenn a Colorado-hegységben!” – mondja a gitáros-szájharmonikás-énekes, aki a lemezbejelentéshez közzétett Song Of The Seasons című számot egy évvel ezelőtt még Kanadában írta és demózta fel, de az új albumra kerülő szerzemények közül elsőként ezt véglegesítette a Crazy Horse-pajtásokkal (Lofgren ezúttal tangóharmonikán játszik, továbbá ő is háttérvokálozik a ritmusszekció párosa mellett), és ez lett a nyitódal is.
