Nine Inch Nails: God Break Down The Door – dal az új Bad Witch albumról David Bowie-hangulatban
A Nine Inch Nails – melyben Trent Reznor mellett most kedvenc filmzeneszerzőtársa, az angol billentyűs-programozó Atticus Ross az egyetlen hivatalos tag – 2016 év végén indított egy háromrészes EP-sorozatot: az az évi Not The Actual Events és a 2017 nyarán kijött Add Violence öt-ötszámos anyaga után idén június 22-én végre megkapjuk a záró részt, ám ez a hatszámos félórás lemez meglepő módon már teljes értékű albumként szerepel a NIN-diszkográfiában. Első beharangozó számként egy erősen David Bowie-hatású dalt hallhatunk róla.
A Nine Inch Nails a David Lynch-féle Twin Peaks sorozatban való tavaly nyári feltűnésével (She’s Gone Away) egy időben kezdett újra koncertezni, és rögtön az első fellépésen játszott egy Reznor által remixelt Bowie-dalt (I Can’t Give Everything Away), de a frontember ezúttal egy saját új számban is egyértelműen megidézi elhunyt zenészbarátját, akivel már két évtizeddel korábban is kollaborált egy közös turné és klip erejéig. A közelgő Bad Witch albumról a szaxofonnal díszített God Break Down The Door című dal itt hallható:
