No Rome, Charli XCX & The 1975: Spinning – közös dal
A manchesteri The 1975 tagjai a Dirty Hit kiadó égisze alatt már többször dolgoztak Fülöp-szigeteki védencükkel, No Rome-mal: az ifjú R&B dalszerző-producer-énekes RIP Indo Hisashi EP-jén és Narcissist duettvideóján, majd a zenekar 2018-as A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships sikerlemezének TooTimeTooTimeTooTime, Sincerity Is Scary és It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You) klipdalaiban, illetve a 2020-as Notes On A Conditional Form album Tonight (I Wish I Was Your Boy) című számában. Most a popénekesnő Charli XCX társaságában is kiadtak egy közös dalt.
Az 1997-ben Guendoline Rome Viray Gomez néven anyakönyvezett No Rome a Spinning című új táncdalát együtt írta Charli XCX-szel és Matty Healyvel, de az utóbbi The 1975 zenekarából a dobos-billentyűs-programozó George Daniel is besegített társszerző-producerként.
No Rome már tavaly tavasszal is jegyzett egy ilyen hármas kollaborációt: a Hurry Home című dalt két másik Fülöp-szigeteki származású huszonéves sztár, a szintén a Dirty Hit kiadóhoz tartozó brit indie rock csaj Beabadoobee (Beatrice Kristi Laus) és a hálószobapop színtéren feltűnt amerikai Jay Som (Melina Mae Duterte) társaságában. Ez a Spinning című mostani szám viszont a vendégek autotune vonzódása miatt jóval kevésbé sikerült.
