Peter Gabriel: I’m Amazing – Muhammad Ali ihlette új szám
Az 1950-es születésű angol dalszerző-énekes Peter Gabriel az Up című 2002-es sorlemeze óta seregnyi feldolgozással és átdolgozással állt elő, de friss új szerzeményt mindössze négyet hallottunk tőle – és a 2014-ben Budapestet is érintő legutóbbi Back To Front turnéján bemutatott három új dal közül is csak a Why Don’t You Show Yourselfből tett közzé stúdióverziót. Most itt egy vadonatúj száma: a Stinggel közös nyári Rock Paper Scissors koncertsorozatának jövő heti indulása elé igazítva június 17-én megjelentet egy I’m Amazing című hét és fel perces új kislemezdalt, melyet Muhammad Ali élete és küzdelmei inspiráltak.
A dalpremierhez fűzött Facebook-kommentárban Gabriel elárulta, hogy ez a szerzemény már néhány éve íródott, de most, hogy Ali elhunyt és a világ a legendás bokszoló nagyságára emlékezik, megfelelő az időpont a felvétel megjelentetésére.
