Pixies: Vault Of Heaven – új klipdal a Doggerel album és a budapesti koncert elé
A Budapest Parkba augusztus 30-ra bejelentett első magyarországi Pixies-koncert után egy hónappal az amerikai rockkvartett – a Frank Blackként is ismert Black Francis dalszerző-gitáros-énekes, Joey Santiago szólógitáros, David Lovering dobos és a 2013-ban kilépett Kim Dealnek a helyére felvett argentin születésű basszusgitáros-vokalistanő Paz Lenchantin – egy új albumot is kiad: a 2014-es Indie Cindy, 2016-os Head Carrier és 2019-es Beneath The Eyrie nagylemezeket (meg az elmúlt két évben közzétett albumközi Hear Me Out és Human Crime kislemezeket) 2022. szeptember 30-án követi a Doggerel című 12 számos új anyag. A nyár eleji There’s A Moon On mellé most megérkezett a második beharangozó dal is egy vicces videóval.
Az új felállás producere továbbra is Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Band Of Skulls, Killing Joke, Therapy? stb.) maradt az idei albumon, melyet a korábbi két sorlemeznél monumentálisabb, ámde hagyományosabb hangzásúnak szántak – ez utóbbira jó példa a koncerteken pár hete már bemutatott Vault Of Heaven című szörf-rockos szerzemény is, melyhez Charles Derenne rendezett lüke klipet Zorro-, Elvis- és Marilyn Monroe-kosztümös figurákkal.
