Pussy Riot: Police State – videoklip Chloë Sevigny szereplésével
A Pussy Riot kollektíva tavaly az orosz legfőbb ügyész családjának alvilági kapcsolatairól írt Csajka után az amerikai elnökválasztás elé egyszerre három további klipet is igazított a Straight Outta Vagina, Organs és Make America Great Again című számokhoz (ez utóbbi Donald Trump-disztópiájához Jonas Åkerlund rendezett videót), és most Trump megválasztásának első évfordulójára itt egy újabb klipdal a rendőrállamról, ahol a főpuszi Nagyezsda Tolokonnyikova ismét hatósági zaklatásnak van kitéve – és a brutális rendőrlányt a modellmúltú amerikai színésznő Chloë Sevigny játssza.
A december 8-án megjelenő Nice Life Winter ’18 című Spotify-playlist beharangozó kislemezdalaként bemutatott Police State – a legutóbbi Make America Great Againhez hasonlóan – ismét a kaliforniai Wallpaper hiphopegyüttesből ismert zenész-producer Ricky Reeddel készült, de ezúttal társszerző-vokalistaként beszállt Nagyezsda mellé egy Los Angeles-i dalszerző-zongorista-énekesnő, a Novelette nevű dream pop projektjével feltűnt Cara Salimando is (ő idén már Dua Lipa debütalbumán is besegített egy számban). A videót egy amerikai független filmes, a Lily című 2013-as rendezésével feltűnt Matt Creed forgatta Chloë Sevigny főszereplésével.
