Regina Spektor: Bleeding Heart – visszatérő dal + albumbejelentés

Az 1980-as moszkvai születésű, de kilencéves korától már New Yorkban nevelkedett zongorista-énekesnő a helyi anti-folk színtérről indult (ahonnan a Moldy Peaches-frontember Adam Green is) és a Strokes holdudvarában tűnt fel, de hamar maga is meghatározó előadóvá nőtt briliáns szerzeményeivel és magával ragadó előadásmódjával: a korai magánkiadású lemezei (11:11 – 2001, Songs – 2002) után a legutóbbi négy albuma már nagykiadós terjesztésben többszázezeres példányszámban fogyott (Soviet Kitsch – 2004, Begin To Hope – 2006, Far – 2009, What We Saw From The Cheap Seats – 2012).

Regina Spektor és a 2013-as Sziget-koncerten szintén színpadra lépő gitáros-énekes férje, az Only Son művésznéven dolgozó hajdani Moldy Peaches-zenész Jack Dishel 2014 áprilisában jelentették be fiúgyermekük születését, de a művésznő továbbra is folyamatosan írt új dalokat, melyekből mostanra állított össze egy új albumot (az alábbi denevértáncos animációja már a lemezbejelentés előhírnöke volt a múlt héten).
