St. Vincent: Down – videoklip +FRISSÍTÉS: fellépés Jimmy Fallon tévéműsorában
Az amerikai dalszerző-gitáros-énekesnő St. Vincent a 2017-es MASSEDUCTION albuma és annak MassEducation című 2018-as zongorás átirata (meg 2019-es MASSEDUCTION Rewired remixgyűjteménye) után 2021. május 14-re jelentette be új Daddy’s Home nagylemezét, melyről a Pay Your Way In Pain és The Melting Of The Sun című beharangozó klipdalokat már élő előadásban is hallhattuk és láthattuk tőle a Saturday Night Live tévéműsorban. A művésznő azóta egy Paul McCartney-remixszel is jelentkezett a McCartney III Imagined című sztárparádés kollaborációs albumon, de most bemutat egy újabb videós dalt is közelgő lemezéről.
A hetvenes évek ihletésében született funkos albumról harmadik beharangozóként érkező Down című szám a multiinstrumentalista-társszerző-producer Jack Antonoff, a billentyűs Doveman (Thomas Bartlett) és két fekete soul/R&B-vokalistanő, Kenya Hathaway és Lynne Fiddmont közreműködésével készült – a Bill Benz társrendezői segítségével forgatott klipje pedig a márciusi 1 (833)-77-DADDY lemezbeharangozó kisfilm folytatása.
