Donald Glover, azaz Childish Gambino e hónapban a legfontosabb kortárs popkulturális ikonok közé lépett a Solo: Egy Star Wars-történet Lando-szerepével, dupla Saturday Night Live-fellépésével és This Is America című listavezető dalának brutális klipjével – melyben Szabadság-szoborként feltűnik az R&B-énekesnő SZA is, aki most cserébe saját sikerlemezének, a 2017 legjobb albumai közt jegyzett Ctrl-nak a legújabb videójában szerepelteti Glovert (az előző Doves In The Wind klipjében Kendrick Lamar volt a vendége).
