A sci-fi videóval bemutatott Wherever You Go című Jamie xx-kollaborációban a fenti stúdiófotón is látható ausztrál dalszerző-producer-énekesnő, a leginkább a Santigoldhoz hasonlítható Clypso a másik női hang Neneh Cherry mellett, míg a zongoratémát a Clash-gitáros Mick Jones játszotta fel. A címadó énekmotívumot a Hugó, a víziló című 1975-ös magyar-amerikai rajzfilm Wherever You Go, Hugo betétdalából kölcsönözték, míg a spoken word hangminták a Naprendszer elhagyásának céljával 1977-ben felbocsátott Voyager űrszondákon utazó arany lemezekre rögzített – idegen civilizációknak címzett – földi üzenetekből valók.

Az Avalanches másik új dala, a triphop hangzású Reflecting Light a veterán angol folkénekesnő Vashti Bunyan 1970-es Glow Worms című számának néhány sora köré épült, a frissen rögzített férfi hangot pedig a nyolcvanas-kilencvenes években nagy soul-funk sztárnak számító amerikai Terence Trent D’Arby (az ezredforduló óta használt szanszkrit nevén: Sananda Maitreya) adta hozzá társszerzőként.
