The Flaming Lips feat. Miley Cyrus: We A Famly – duett a zenekar közelgő albumáról
A Flaming Lips 2017-es – egy hét múlva megjelenő – Oczy Mlody albumát felvezető klipdalok, az októberi The Castle, a novemberi How?? és a decemberi Sunrise (Eyes Of The Young) után most még januárra is jut egy beharangozó szám We A Famly címmel. Már a Sunrise-nak is volt némi köze Miley Cyrushoz (egy közös verziója korábban már a 2015-ös Miley Cyrus And Her Dead Petz meglepetésalbumukon is megjelent), ez a mostani szám pedig egy friss duett az énekesnő és a Flaming Lips-frontember Wayne Coyne között.
Az 1961-es születésű dalszerző-gitáros-énekessel és barátnőjével már egy ideje jó barátságot ápoló 24 éves popsztár most harmadik alkalommal szerepel a Flaming Lipsszel közösen albumon (először a zenekar 2014-es With A Little Help From My Fwends című Beatles-feldolgozáslemezén hallhattuk), tényleg családias már a kapcsolatuk, ahogy ez a mostani dalcím is mondja. Az új albumot záró We A Famly kis tripduettjében Wayne stílszerűen a telet, Miley a nyarat képviseli, mindketten épp utaznak, az előbbi a földön valahol Kansas állam déli részén, az utóbbi repülőn, térben épp távol vannak, de gondolnak egymásra. Szép, na!
