The National feat. Bon Iver: Weird Goodbyes – közös új dal

Vernon régi haverja a National-tagoknak, Aaron Dessner és Bryce Dessner zeneszerző-gitárosokkal a Big Red Machine nevű közös projekt 2018-as debütalbumán és tavalyi How Long Do You Think It’s Gonna Last? lemezén is együtt dolgozott, sőt szerepelt a fivérek közreműködésével készült két 2020-as Taylor Swift-meglepetésalbumon is (Folklore, Evermore). A National-frontember Matt Berningerrel is többször énekelt már együtt színpadon, és most ő lett a duettpartner a zenekar új kislemezdalában is, melyet a koncerteken eleinte használt Bathwater (Mount Auburn) munkacím után Weird Goodbyesként véglegesítettek.
