The S.L.P. feat. Little Simz: Favourites +FRISSÍTÉS: klip a Kasabian-főnök Serge Pizzorno szólóprojektjétől
A Kasabian zenei vezére, a dalszerző-gitáros-énekes Sergio Lorenzo Pizzorno, aki az együttes 2017-es legutóbbi For Crying Out Loud albumának klipsorozatából (You’re In Love With A Psycho, Are You Looking For Action?, Bless This Acid House, Ill Ray) az utolsó videót már rendezőként is jegyezte, most The S.L.P. név alatt indít szólóprojektet. A ma megjelent Favourites című első dalhoz rögtön vendéget is hívott a Gorillaz-körbe tartozó nigériai származású londoni rapperlány Little Simz (született: Simbiatu Ajikawo, 1994) személyében.
Az 1980-as születésű Pizzorno az évtized elején már indított egy viccprojektet Noel Fielding brit komikussal (Loose Tapestries), de a nevének kezdőbetűi nyomán elnevezett The S.L.P.-t már láthatóan komoly szólóprodukciónak szánja, melyhez vizuálsegédnek maga mellé vette anyazenekarának kreatív direktorát, az argentin születésű grafikus-divattervező-konceptművész Aitor Throupot is, aki több Kasabian-klip (Switchblade Smiles, Man Of Simple Pleasures, Eez-eh, Bow) után a Favourites közelgő videóját, továbbá a fenti képpár bal oldalán látható hivatalos sajtófotót és a hasonlóan glitteres alábbi kislemezborítót is jegyzi. Maga a dal egy online ismerkedés után megbeszélt, ám élőben kínosnak bizonyuló éttermi randin játszódik, ahol Serge mellett Little Simz játssza a női résztvevőt.
