Weyes Blood: Andromeda – csodás új dal a kaliforniai énekesnőtől

Weyes Blood a korai lo-fi felvételeinek erőteljes Nico-hatásaitól mára a hatvanas-hetvenes évtizedforduló szofisztikált psych-folk/soft rock hangzásai felé orientálódott, és legfrissebb felvétele egyszerre emlékeztet Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez és persze Karen Carpenter korabeli dalaira. A címével mitológiai, asztronómiai és technológiai asszociációkat keltő Adromeda lényegében egy szerelmes dal arról, hogy milyen jó „találni valami hosszútávút egy folyamatosan változó világban, a figyelmet elterelő dolgok, irreális elvárások és múltbéli csalódások szorításában”.
